Week 42: Adapting Based on Feedback

“Plans fail when there is no counsel, but with many advisers they succeed.” – Proverbs 15:22 (CSB)

Feedback is an invaluable tool for growth, especially when we approach it with humility and a willingness to learn. Reflection allows us to consider how we’ve implemented feedback in the past and how we can continue to improve as we serve the church.

This week, let’s reflect on the feedback we’ve received and how we can adapt to serve with even greater excellence and purpose.

For musicians, adapting based on feedback might involve refining a specific skill, improving transitions, or enhancing your stage presence. Reflect on how feedback has helped you grow and made the worship experience more impactful.

For the tech team, feedback might involve adjusting sound levels, timing slides more effectively, or finding ways to streamline technical processes. Reflect on how applying feedback has improved your role and strengthened the team.

  1. Personal Reflection: Pray for humility and insight to accept and apply feedback in your ministry.

  2. Team Reflection: Share as a team one way feedback has helped you grow or improve collectively.

  3. Sunday Preparation: Be open to receiving and applying feedback during Sunday’s service for the glory of God.
