Week 50: Spreading Cheer
“A joyful heart is good medicine, but a broken spirit dries up the bones.” – Proverbs 17:22 (CSB)
Celebration is contagious, and spreading cheer is one way we can reflect the joy of the Lord to those around us. As we celebrate this season, we have the opportunity to share that joy with teammates, the congregation, and everyone we encounter.
This week, let’s focus on how we can spread cheer and create an atmosphere of joy and gratitude as we serve together.
For musicians, spreading cheer might include offering words of encouragement during rehearsals, sharing laughter with teammates, or leading worship with a heart full of joy that inspires others.
For the tech team, spreading cheer could involve being a calming and positive presence during high-stress moments, offering affirmations to teammates, or simply approaching your role with a joyful attitude.
1. Personal Reflection: Pray for a cheerful heart and seek opportunities to share joy with others.
2. Team Reflection: Discuss how spreading cheer has strengthened your team and its ministry.
3. Sunday Preparation: Approach Sunday with a cheerful spirit, intentionally encouraging at least one teammate or leader.
